……..is the unlikely name of a website which is all about getting your ideas on television:
“They say everyone has a novel inside them – Not From Concentrate believes that everyone has a TV show idea inside them.By using a combination of online resources and real-time mentoring, a housewife in Hull with a cracking quiz show or a bus driver from Bootle with the next big reality TV series can take their ideas to the next level. But hey, don’t just take our word for it. Give us a go and put us to the test. We’re open for business.”
I have been offered a job at London-based technology/IT news website www.V3.co.uk. It’s a 9 month maternity contract, but it’s a great step onto the ladder. I’ll be covering IT skills/education, social media and UK tech startups. I’ll also be producing much of the website’s video content. Continue reading →

A runner position has just arisen at my company, Red Bee Media, that would probably suit recent School of Media graduates. It’s a runner’s job in the post production department that provides all manner of services for Channel 4. It should be a good ‘foot in the door’ here at Red Bee Media. We are industry leaders in a number of broadcast, video on demand and creative services. Its also a good opportunity to gain experience at Channel 4. The deadline is rather tight (17th March), and details are here: http://www.redbeemedia.com/careers
