LSM Awarded BFI Film Academy – again!

BFIandLSM-ACADEMY_firstproject-Spring2013Hurrah! After LSM’s success in partnership with CfBT Education Services, earlier this year, we’ll be hosting the BFI Film Academy programmes over the next two years. It means we can offer young people in the East Midlands hands-on opportunities to learn film production from UK industry experts and access our state-of-the art studios, equipment and technology.  Brian Hall, LSM’s Senior Lecturer, will once again take the lead on this project: “Our first programme was a fantastic success, and we are now on the lookout for enthusiastic applicants who can demonstrate a creative aptitude and an excitement for the film industry.”

Apply now! Aspiring movie-makers who’re aged between 16 and 19 and in the region must get applications in by 30 September 2013. Email Robert Pitman at CfBT Education Services for an application form and further details about the BFI Film Academy in Lincoln:  Continue reading
