This is a fabulous paid internship if you’re a University of Lincoln 2014 or 2015 graduate to work on a range of creative projects with multi-award winning production company Blueprint: Film. It is a full-time position based in its Lincoln studio with flexible working hours to start in April 2016. The intern will have a range of media and office skills: researching; live sports web streaming/ webcasting, including the basics of vision mixing and camera and audio set-up (further training will be provided); and a knowledge of Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Creative Cloud would be useful. You MUST have a valid driver’s licence and a vehicle because one of the largest projects the intern will work on will be a series of community cinema events across Lincolnshire. The job includes travelling to different locations and working alone, so it is important that you are confident working on your own.
2014 Grad Mikaela Smith, Blueprint: Film’s Production Co-ordinator said email her for more info: The role is ideal for a Lincoln Media Production/FTV graduate as we need someone with some knowledge of vision mixing, which some people will have done in multi-cam. This is how I started with Blueprint and although I decided on single camera as my option, the little vision mixing I had done was enough to build upon. There will be lots of other things the intern will be doing and the role has the potential to expand quite quickly (as mine did)! Here’s our job brief, which details everything we’re looking for: Internship Opportunity. Apply by 20th March 2016. Email a cover letter with your CV, and where possible examples of your work to email@example.com
Blueprint: Film employs our media and film alumni: David Brook (Class of 2003, Media Production) and Chris Searson (Class of 2009, CLM/Photography) along with Mikaela are looking forward to another LSFM graduate to join the indie. Remember the University’s Careers team can support our alumni so get in touch if you are jobhunting. This Internship Opportunity vacancy reference number is: LIN160301/1
Please Note: THIS ROLE IS PART OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN’S GRADUATE INTERNSHIP SCHEME. YOU CAN ONLY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE A GRADUATE FROM 2014 OR 2015 FROM AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE COURSE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN.
