Lincoln film event

Tim Johns, who works at BBC Lincolnshire (radio – broadcast journalist/station sound producer) is putting on a short-film night on 21st July, showcasing film-making talent in Lincoln and the surrounding area.

He’s got the whole of the Drill Hall to do this – so it’ll be a big screen in the main auditorium, with paying guests.  Across the evening he wants to showcase all sorts of video.

The criteria is that films have a local connection (ie. made locally, not necessarily shot locally) and that they are short (30 seconds to five minutes ideally).

He wants to include comedy, music, drama, news, and documentary shorts too.  Amateur-looking or professionally shot, so long as it might interest an audience for a few minutes, that’s fine.

Go to www.lincolnshorts.co.uk to submit your videos to be shown on the night (or on future nights if all goes well)
