I found out on Friday that I secured two acting jobs!
One is for a HSBC corporate job and the other is for a new British Sky1 comedy series! It will be coming out later this year. At the moment I’m in 4 out of the 6 episodes.
It’s a Sky1 comedy series called ‘Gates’ about four families, who get to know each other because their children go to the same Primary school and meet each other at the school ‘Gates’ (you with me so far lol)
My character is a 16yr old girl called Candy, whose little brother goes to the school. I’m mainly there for comedic effect, as I don’t have much to say, but I feel very blessed for being given this opportunity and I love going to set each week and working with the cast, who are all hilarious!
I did have another acting job, but due to clashing of dates with the series, I was unable to do it. The casting director was really understanding about it though and said there might be further work for the project in the future, so she would keep me in mind, which was really nice of her to say.
I LOVE BEING BUSY ACTING! Living my dream right now, just hope I can ride the wave and get some more work off the back off this!
